I have found the Edwin Watts Golf catalog to not only be a great resource for gear but also a superb reference. Take golf balls. There are so many choices. Even within the same brand. OK, so you’ve got a slice and are looking for your drive. Even though you never find it, you wind up with a couple of long lost balls. Use the catalog to find out if it’s an expensive or low price ball you’ve just acquired. (When there’s a high-risk drive, I like to use a lower priced ball just in case it finds the water.) It’s fun to do a little vicarious shopping for a new driver that might fix the slide. This catalog is a perfect place to start.
Ever use a Brush Tee? Well, I love them. Based on the driver you’re using, you go with the Brush Tee that’s the right size. Then, your ball is always at the same height. There are four sizes available. I use either the Yellow (maximum height) or the Orange (not quit so much height).

We got the Golf Buddy Pro last year because we liked the fact that it is pre-loaded with 14,000 courses and there is no annual fee. It has worked out great for us.
Every few months, it seems there’s another catalog. Must be they’re trying to keep up with the evolving technology. I’m looking at the Holiday 2008 Edition which is loaded with gift ideas. Rather handy in December. But every edition of the Edwin Watts catalog is something you’ll enjoy.
